The Juniclair Foundation was created in France in 2007, initially as an association and endowment fund. In 2013, the association was transformed into a foundation and its head office was transferred to Luxembourg where it was recognised as being in the public interest by Grand Ducal decree on 4 October 2013.
The Juniclair Foundation wishes to devote its resources to supporting and accompanying development aid projects in the fields of education (access to school for all, educational reintegration, vocational training and access to employment, prevention and information), protection of women (combating violence of all kinds, fighting against abandonment, selfcare education, psychological support), and the environment (promoting the protection of animals and endangered species, biodiversity research, the arts and health).
To achieve these objectives, the Juniclair Foundation has adopted clear and transparent rules of conduct including: rigorous selection of partners in the field, genuine and legitimate beneficiaries, annual visits to projects and meetings with beneficiaries, professional monitoring of actions in the field, rigorous and clear reports, compliance with governance and specifications, support for autonomy, etc.
The Batipart Group's contribution to this activity amounts to approx. €1m per year.
